Colouroo comes from a Brisbane print business that has spent 15 years printing for Aussie businesses, brands and garment decorators.
Why we built Colouroo
For 15 years we've printed for Aussie businesses and brands. We run DTF Direct, supplying transfers to decorators around Australia, and The Tshirt Mill, printing custom apparel for local businesses. We kept hearing the same thing from Shopify sellers: their print on demand orders went offshore or through a chain of resellers, took weeks to arrive, and nobody could tell them what was going on.
So we plugged our own workshop straight into Shopify. When you sell a Colouroo product, the order comes to us, and we print it. No hand-offs, no guessing who to email.
The name? Colour plus kangaroo. The logo's little face is made of ink dots, and the smile is the cyan, magenta and yellow we print with every day.
