From install to first sale
in about ten minutes.

Colouroo lives inside your Shopify admin. Here's everything you need to get your first product live.

Setup guide

You'll need a Shopify store and a PNG of your design. That's it.

Artwork tips

PNG with a transparent background, at least 300 DPI at print size. A front print of about 28 x 35cm needs roughly 3300 x 4100 pixels.

Anything white in your file prints white, so remove backgrounds before you upload.

  1. Install Colouroo

    Find Colouroo in the Shopify App Store and click Add app. Approve the permissions (we only ask for what we need to create products and receive orders) and you'll land in the Colouroo dashboard.

  2. Add your business details and a card

    Open Payment in the app. Add your business name and ABN for your tax invoices, then save a card. This is what we charge when an order comes in.

    Choose your approval window here too: charge straight away, after 1 hour, or after 24 hours.

  3. Choose a product

    Open Catalogue and pick a blank. You'll see the colours, sizes, print positions and your cost before you start.

  4. Upload and place your design

    Upload your PNG and drag it into place on the front, back or sleeves. Pick which colours you want to sell.

  5. Check your mockups and price

    We generate product photos for every colour you picked. Set your retail price and see your profit on each sale.

  6. Publish to Shopify

    Click Publish. The product, photos, sizes, colours and prices are created in your store, ready to sell.

  7. Sell. We do the rest.

    When a customer orders, it lands in Colouroo automatically. We charge your card, print it in Brisbane, pack it and ship it. Tracking is sent back to Shopify, so your customer gets their shipping email from you.

After the sale

What happens to an order

Shopify sends us the order the moment it's placed.

Once your approval window passes, we charge your card and email a tax invoice.

Printed

DTF printed and pressed in Brisbane, usually within 3 business days.

Shipped

Packed and posted. Tracking syncs to Shopify and your customer is notified.
